Emotional Intelligence 3

Your timidity is a handicap, your mistrust of yourself almost now a conditioned reflex, inhibiting you from emotionally intelligent communicative responses.  you need to remind yourself that there are many people who could benefit from your good offices, you need to count you doubtless many achievements and blessings, you need to look at the many people less fortunate, weaker, stupider, and less attractive than yourself and thus train your own emotional intelligence to lead you to take responsibility and to make a positive contribution to your society, your environment and your own welfare.  If your want of self worth is a consequence of unappreciative partner or family, look to the outside world in order to exercise your emotional intelligence.

Emotional Intelligence Test 2

Whoah there.  You certainly accept what you think you are, but are you sure that that image tallies with the real you – fallible, frail, uncertain, mortal man or woman?  Your aggression and assertiveness seem to speak rather more of poor self-image and of confidence in a projection.  Whereas those in the category 12-18 will have the humility to do something about it, however, you may find rather more difficulty in developing an accurate appreciation of yourself.  The projection, after all, is popular enough , and you never need to consider all those inconvenient little flaws which make you human.  This in turn makes you intolerant of the same flaws in others.

Emotional Intelligence Test 1

Your robust attempts to master your emotions are praiseworthy but frequently ill-judged and unsympathetic.  You defend yourself from “unworthy” emotions by simulated appropriate responses, but you tend to give rent-free space in your head to people and things which were better considered, understood, and consigned to the data-bank for subsequent use.  Try allowing emotions, even emotions which seem unworthy- anger, fear, fraility, depression, etc. into harmless contexts such as when listening to music or watching films, explore them and acknowledge them.  They are part of the armory of wisdom.

Sudden Inspiration

She leaned forward, pressing the book back against her knees, her head resting on her legs as her eyes closed.  It was a very dreary sort of day, and she could feel it.  Soon, she was drifting off and her soft breathing gave away her vulnerable state.  Her mind slowed and showed her images that not even her book mustered.

A bear rose and sniffed the air, his shining silver armor glittering in the light.  His blue-black fur shined nicely as well, giving away that his diet was rich and he was most likely young.  Small rodents in the dirt trembled as he hit the ground, quaking their homes.  With a snort he turned around and grunted, a fox-boy crawling from the bushes followed by what looked like a rabbit girl.

“All is safe, Alvir?” she asked him timidly.

“Yes.  All is safe…for now.” the bear responded, sniffing the air once more.

NaNoWriMo

Two days into it, and I’m already behind.  Fuck.  I mean, once I get going, it shouldn’t be too hard.  But geez.

The rain hit the pavement hard, bouncing off and forming puddles at the bottom of the smallish hill of Hillsbury Lane.  Watching this natural occurance, were two lavender peepers, quite dully might I add.  Turning away from the boring little hill, they looked back into a book, a soft wet breeze blowing into the crack of the window.  It was summertime, and the wind felt nice at this time of day.  The woman’s long brunette hair sprayed onto the pillow behind her, her legs curled up, barely supporting the book against her chest.  Light brown freckles, sprinkled lightly across her face.

Meh, I’m tired.  That’s all I can come up with for now.
